Hey, y’all.

I’ve always loved telling stories and finding the humor and absurdity in life. I enjoy writing about observations and life experiences. This is my small corner of the internet to share stories and connect with others. Being human is hard, so might as well find the funny in it all. We know there's already plenty of hard stuff.

Born a Texan, raised in the Midwest and then came back to Texas to be near family. The sunshine is great. Houston's humidity is not but it's the great equalizer. We're all sweating together in these tropics. Find the AC and you're all set.

I’m the youngest of three sisters, aunt to two, and loyal friend. I adore my family and spending time with my mom and sisters. My dad graduated to Heaven almost 10 years ago after having stage 4 brain cancer. We all miss him terribly. Cancer devastated our family (like it does for so many families across the globe!) and taught me how fragile life is, and how important it is to love your people because life is short.

I believe in loving others and lifting others up. I’m working on ways I can show up more and use my privilege to serve others because I don’t think any of us will be free until we are all.

I work in health care and am passionate about helping patients and their families. My views here are my own.
